The company “Sellas Olive Oil“ was established in 1992 and operates in the wholesale Commerce of Greek conventional and organic olive oil farming and certified services of processing, standardization, and storage of olive oil.

At the beginning of 2011 we presented our own extra virgin olive oil and followed a series of standardized olive oils labeled SELLAS.

Our storage and standardization facilities in Nemea, as well as the production process of our olive oil, is certified by Food Safety management systems with ISO-22000: 2005 and quality assurance systems with ISO-9001: 2008 from BUREAU VERITAS.

Organic olive oil marketing authorisation of the company has been certified by the Inspection and Certification Organization of organic products DIO.

The main product line “Sellas Extra Virgin Olive Oil” is produced by the method of first cold extraction, at low temperatures, under constantly controlled hygienic conditions. The selection of high quality olives combined with the finest extraction methods, result in a balanced, fruity extra virgin olive oil, with low acidity (<0.5%). Having preserved the fine and fresh aromas of the greek olive groves, the Sellas extra virgin olive oil can blend harmonically with every taste. The “Sellas Extra Virgin Olive Oil” is available in Marasca and Dorica bottles of 250ml, 500ml, 750 ml and 1Lt. This product is also available in aluminum containers of 3Lt and 5Lt. The organic line, “Organic Sellas Extra Virgin Olive Oil” is obtained from hand- picked sustainable grown olives from solely organic olive groves. No chemical fertilisers or pesticides are used at all stages of production. The organic line is produced by the method of first cold extraction at low temperatures, under constantly controlled hygienic conditions. The selection of high quality fruit of the olive tree, combined with the organic cultivation and the finest extraction methods produce a well balanced, fruity extra virgin olive oil, with low acidity (<0.5%), that retains the purest of the greek groves’ aromas and taste.
