Grandfathers of the nowadays owner, were farming grapes for vinification. They were selling their grapes to the vinification factories near Melesses. Through the years the landlord of the estate passed to Giorgos Paterianakis the nowadays owner.

The civil engineer Giorgos Paterianakis started the valorization of the estate in 1990 . After he finished the establishment of the new vineyard with local varieties, he cultured it without using any chemical substances. Parallel, he build a new vinification house with two thousands square meters total surface. The new vinification house disposes vinification and bottling areas and underground storehouses for bottles and barrels.

We are a third generation family company,the first in the island of Crete who introduce the organic grape cultivation and one of the few wineries in Greece with a vertical organization of its production process! We cultivate six unique indigenous and five first class international varieties using the latest organic techniques, and we believe that we can inspire through a series of products with a strong personality.”
