Greek Wine Cellars dates back to 1895. It has developed to become the largest wine operation in Greece, but still remains wholly owned by the founding Kourtakis family. In the last 30 years it has constructed new wineries in several of the most important wine-producing regions – Attica, Peloponnese, the island of Crete, and central Greece. Currently, its annual production is some 40 million bottles.

The company’s wine-making interests are split into 4 divisions: Kourtaki, Calliga, Oenoforos and Babatzim.

It offers an extensive range of Greek wines: PDO – Kourtaki Mavrodaphne of Patras, Kourtaki Muscat of Samos, KOUROS Patras, KOUROS Nemea, GWC Mantinia/ Moscofilero, GWC Nemea/Agiorgitiko, GWC Santorini/Assyrtiko, PGI – Kourtaki Retsina of Attica, Vin de Crete, Moderne Trilogie, Aegean Islands, Table wines: APELIA & Kourtaki.
