Having a long winemaking tradition, Stelios Kechris Domaine is a modern family business run by the enologist Stelios Kechris, his wife and their three daughters who represent the family’s fourth generation.
The winery is specialized in the production of top-quality retsina that has contributed to the international recognition of the traditional Greek wine as one of the world’s finest wines. Besides retsina, the winery is dedicated to the vinification of unique red and white wines that stand out in the global market due to their distinct blends, high quality standards and excellent value for money.
Stelios Kechris Domaine’s vineyards are mainly in Goumenissa, a renowned winemaking region in Central Macedonia while the winery is located in Kalochori, close to the heart of Thessaloniki. The winery has an annual production capacity of 1.200.000 bottles, 40% of which is exported to 19 international markets.
As a founding member of the “Wines of North Greece” association and the “Wine Routes of North Greece” tourism network, Stelios Kechris Domaine is open to the public offering a wide range of guided tours and winetasting experiences that meet the needs of different audiences.
