The Company Ampeloeis SA, new in winemaking, was founded in 2006 by the Tsiolas family. Its name means vineyards in Ancient Greek. The family’s aim is to create prestigious and quality wines. To achieve this aim, it chose experienced and reliable partners, led by the internationally recognized French oenologist Noel Rabot, who has a 40-year experience in reputed wineries abroad. The company’s fully trained staff ensures the unit’s proper operation, from the raw materials until the final product reaches the consumer. Essentially, Ampeloeis started its course in the world of winemaking in 2008 with the presentation of its two white wines, Folia and Simfonia, participating in exhibitions, where consumers enthusiastically embraced our efforts. As a new company, our philosophy is rich in innovation, as we are the first company in Greece to use glass stoppers (Vino – Lok) instead of cork.
