The Chatzivariti Estate is located in the wine region of Goumenissa. The idea for the creation of the estate arose in the early 80s, when Evangelos and Olga used to gather annually with their friends in Goumenissa, in order to bottle the wine of the year. The endless discussions made during those meetings about wine, were the reason for the creation of Chatzivariti Estate.
The vineyard consists of 12 hectares. The Greek red varieties, Xinomavro and Negoska, constitutes the backbone of the vineyard, while in smaller areas are cultivated Assyrtiko, Roditis, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery, which began operating in 2007, was built in Filiria.
The Chatzivariti Estate produces seven labels. Three red ones, three whites and one rose .All of our wines are organic.
